"Give away that which you most wish to receive." ~quoted from The Leader Who Had No Title: A Modern Fable on Real Success in Business and in Life, by Robin Sharma
Please take a moment to think about what these words might mean to you.
It's amazing how a few carefully chosen words can really get you thinking, huh?
How about if we get the juices flowing with a little bit of mental imagery:
If I were to give you an imaginary box and told you to fill it with the three things you want most, what would they be?
Somehow, I don't think we're talking red Ferraris here - not that I think that would be the first thing to pop into any of your minds!
When you stop and think about it, REALLY think about it, some of the most meaningful gifts wouldn't even FIT into a box.
And it has nothing to do with their size.
I'm going to pull a "to be continued tomorrow" on you so you have time to think. I know you're busy, especially this week!
Tomorrow, I will share the three things I most want to give and receive.
For my Jewish friends, Happy Hanukkah! And for those who are still running around shopping or making your own homemade gifts, maybe you could think about all this while you're wrapping...
May you find a few quiet moments to reflect upon the year during this busy time.
