I'll get back to children's books next week, but since Father's Day is coming up next month, I figured I'd put together my previous series of related book and other gift recommendations. Hopefully something pops out at you that might inspire your husband or father to share quality, unplugged time with his children or grandchildren! You have to catch it while you can these days, don't you?
So, here's my roundup:
Do the adult men in your life read with your children? It's a great way for them to learn together and share common interests.
Of course, there's nothing wrong with sneaking a little alone time in, either! Getting lost in a great book can be such a wonderful stress reliever for people of all ages. The key is to finding just the right book.
What are your husband's or father's hobbies? Favorite authors? Even if he's not much of a reader, I'm sure you can find the perfect book to pull him in. Who knows, the gift of a book could spark something truly wonderful.
Enjoy the last week of May. The year is going by so quickly, but good things are springing up all over the place. Maybe now's the perfect time to tell the boys and men in your life just how thankful you are to have them in your life.
A little gratitude goes a long way, even if it's not a holiday!
