I was going to continue on with my Chinese New Year series, but based upon the lack of comments, I'm guessing no one's finding the information all that useful. So, if you would like more information on how to link the books together, or how to extend the learning to other aspects of Chinese culture and learning, please let me know. Otherwise, that's it for this series.
I really enjoy seeking out what I consider to be the very best books on a given subject, but it's just too time consuming for me to do, especially if no one really is taking advantage of my research. However, if you have a specific area of research that needs to be done on just about any subject (within reason), I can do some consulting work for you on an as needed basis.
It's been about a year since I started blogging, and I've tried to stay away from controversial subjects as much as possible. I'm finding now, though, that there are certain things being stated on Twitter that I would like to address. I have very strong feelings about education reform, along with literacy and the green movement (which seems to have enough voices speaking up for it already).
So, I'm going to try (once again) to stay away from picture books so that I'm free to say what I really need to say. If you have an opinion about that, now's the time to speak up! Also, if you have a certain topic that you'd like me to address, please let me know.
Have a wonderful weekend! Enjoy the Olympics, Valentine's Day, Chinese New Year, President's week, and the Mardi Gras!
