As more and more evidence shows us how much of a connection there is between food and the brain, it's especially important that we teach our children how to make informed and healthy food choices.
Cooking together can be such a fun and educational experience, especially around the holiday season. As a matter of fact, it's one of my Top 5 Rainy Day Activities!
It's not easy to focus on food when we're so busy though, but there really are so many quick and easy recipes available on the internet. Just the other day, I found FoodNetwork.com's Chicken Stew recipe. It was delicious, and required minimal effort. I didn't even need a crock pot!
