I'm proud to announce that the all new Literacy Lava online magazine is scheduled to be released next week! If you want all of the latest reading and writing tips and strategies for families, this is one volcano you don't want to run away from....
The creative mind behind this project is Susan Stephenson, who is known to many as the The Book Chook. She is a freelance writer who has a teaching background, and her love of reading and children's literature shines through in all that she does.
I am so honored to be one of the contributing bloggers for Susan's latest project, Literacy Lava. It's truly a magazine which reflects Susan's vision of a world in which all children have access to books and are able to develop a love of reading, writing, and creating.
Each of the bloggers Susan has selected to contribute to this project has something unique to offer to parents, grandparents, caregivers, and teachers. While they each share Susan's deep love of reading and children's literature, each of them has different life experience, which will make this magazine truly unique.
