Have you bought reusable grocery bags yet? I bought them last year, but sometimes I forget to bring them with me to the store. Today, I remembered. It feels really good not to walk out of the store with so many plastic bags! It's just one way to do my part in saving the planet.
By the way, what you put into those bags affects the planet also. I try not to buy processed foods, which have a lot of artificial ingredients, and I've been buying less meat. I've also been buying organic products for years, and there are certain fruits and vegetables that have more pesticides than others. Here are some that I will not buy unless they're organic:

We all have our causes, I know, but the green movement is one that truly affects each and every one of us. We can save every living thing, including ourselves (many diseases are caused by pollution and unhealthy eating) if we all work together. We have to act now, and try to find small ways to make a difference.
